Tinnitus
Tinnitus is a condition that affects 10-15% of adults. Since there is no cure yet, it is important to learn how to deal with it, and to understand how your daily behavior and lifestyle is actually affecting your tinnitus. While some of these effects are very evident, others are much harder to understand, and might even change over time. TinnitusDiary is an app that is supposed to help you in developing a better understanding.
Self-Monitoring
Keeping a diary is a recommended practice for a lot of medical and self-help topics, and an ever-increasing number of people are tracking and analyzing their sports activities and personal health details with apps nowadays. TinnitusDiary is based on the same principle: You can track the strength of the tinnitus and potential triggers on a daily basis, and monitor the development over time to draw valuable conclusions.
How to use TinnitusDiary
This app is your personal tinnitus diary: Every day you can enter the strength of your tinnitus and your exposure to a set of potential triggers like stress, lack of sleep, noise and alcohol & drinking.
You can also add individual triggers, and a calendar helps you to keep an overview on the entered data.
The development over time is visualized with a customisable chart, and the trigger with the highest correlation to your tinnitus is automatically calculated. Finally, there are also some handy features like a daily reminder and a data export.
